Which prefered format for tutorials?

A question for all the CG artists out there:

What format do you prefer for tutorials:

A. Video
B. Text and Images (webpage, pdf, doc...)

I have a couple of ideas for some interesting tutorials I could make, but I wonder which format would be best, and I would like to know your opinion.

Please answer in the poll I posted at my blog, for centralized answers, although feel free to comment at will right here.

it depends on the nature of the tutorial, if it is process oriented then video works well, whereas concept oriented stuff is often best described using text and images as it can take a few reads before it sinks in.

depends what you're teaching.
if it was a technical explanation of a program's functions; personally i think a video tutorial would suit it much better than text. a viewer will much prefer to see it done before them so they can follow more confidently in that its no impossible task, you know?

text would be more fitting to a concept explanation, as girlflash elaborated on.
